LEVEL 2 AWARD
IN SUPPORTING ACTIVITY PROVISION IN SOCIAL CARE

This qualification provides learners with knowledge on how activity provision can improve individuals’ creative, sensory, and intellectual capacities. It equips participants to take part in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an activity-based model of care, focusing on person-centered approaches.

This qualification aims to equip learners with a solid foundation which supports effective and compassionate care delivery and is designed to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding and the skills required for effective practice in social care settings. The qualification covers 15 key topic areas, each divided into sub-topics to facilitate detailed learning and application in real-world scenarios.

LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA
IN ADULT CARE

This qualification is designed to support roles in the workplace such as lead adult care workers, lead personal assistants, care supervisors, or community support workers.
It forms the competence It forms the competence requirements for learners working in adult care settings at Level 3.
LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA
IN ADULT CARE
Delivered by PS Training.
This qualification is specifically designed to support roles within the adult social care sector. It is ideal for individuals working in various settings, including residential care, domiciliary care, and day centres. Additionally, it caters to lead personal assistants who operate at a senior level within a personal assistant team.

The qualification focuses on enhancing learners' specialist skills and knowledge in their specific areas of responsibility. This includes leading initiatives such as assessment or enablement. Learners will be responsible for assessing the performance and quality of care delivery within their settings. Furthermore, they will take on roles such as providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues, enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of care.
LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA
IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN ADULT CARE

This newly developed Highfield Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) is targeted at individuals who manage care and support services within the adult care sector in England. The qualification is designed to enhance learners' knowledge and skills in several critical areas of leadership and management within adult social care.

The main aim of this qualification is to develop competencies in leading and managing adult social care provisions and teams. It focuses on the responsibilities of leaders and managers, and includes improvement and innovation, communication, and the promotion of values, behaviours, health and safety, and professional conduct within the sector.
